I love this time of year. There is just something special in the air. The change of seasons from Summer to Fall then quickly to winter. Easily mid September to Christmas morning is my favorite.  But more than that, I love how our community comes together. We do so year round, but I see special glimmers this time of year.

In our office we love to give back year round. A few years ago Sylvia Ray in our office started the Santa for Seniors program. It’s designed to help seniors in need, who may not have family or friends to give them something a little special. Last year 257 personally hand wrapped gifts were delivered to seniors through out the community in assisted living centers, senior housing and nominated by friends or neighbors.

This year we are hoping to help more. Currently we are collecting items to be delivered on or before December 22nd. I would invite you to considered dropping something by our office. We are in need of:

  • Sweaters/House Coats
  • slippers/socks
  • womens tops & pants
  • crossword puzzles
